POTSDI Work Plan (2025–2027)
Theme: Helping Hands with Love, for a Dignified Future
1. Empowerment
Activities:
- Provide micro-grants and small loans for petty trading, farming, and start-ups.
- Distribute essential work tools (e.g., sewing machines, grinding machines, farm inputs).
Target Group: Vulnerable women, youth, widows, and unemployed men.
Expected Outcomes: Increased household income, reduced dependency, and sustainable livelihoods.
2. Skill Development
Activities:
- Organize vocational training (tailoring, hairdressing, catering, ICT, carpentry, auto-mechanics).
- Partner with technical schools for certification.
Target Group: Youths (both in and out of school) and single mothers.
Expected Outcomes: Self-employment, employability, and reduction in youth idleness.
3. Scholarships
Activities:
- Provide financial support for school fees, books, and uniforms.
- Run a “Back to School” program for dropouts.
Target Group: Orphans, children of widows, and vulnerable households.
Expected Outcomes: Increased school enrolment, literacy, and future opportunities for beneficiaries.
4. Mentoring & Moral Training
Activities:
- Establish mentorship clubs in schools and communities.
- Host quarterly workshops on leadership, integrity, ethics, and career guidance.
- Pair successful professionals with youths as mentors.
Target Group: Adolescents, youths, and young adults.

5. Group Engagement
Activities:
